Rogers
Pass
Ski
tour with a guide at Rogers Pass and enjoy the best deep powder
skiing to be had.
Situated
at the crest of the Selkirk Mountains, 45 minutes from Revelstoke,
British Columbia, Rogers Pass is the premier backcountry ski touring
destination in Canada. It catches the big storms coming off the
Pacific but is far enough inland that the powder stays light and
dry. In clear weather we have ski ascents of peaks, high alpine
terrain and sprawling glaciers. If it is snowing we move into
the trees for deep snow and better visibility. Long glacier runs,
breathtaking scenery, steep tree skiing and deep snow, Rogers
Pass has it all.
Rogers
Pass is in the center of Glacier National Park, a protected wilderness
area far from the ski lifts and crowds. We stay at the comfortable
Best Western Hotel. With many trips starting and ending right
at your room it is the perfect location. Ski a 6000 foot powder
run down to the hot tub, drinks and diner. The roadside location
allows flexibility in trip planning with dates and group size.
Anything from single day trips, avalanche courses or week long
trips are easily accommodated. Contact us for more information
or help planning your ski tour.
