Bugaboo
Spire, the Northeast Ridge
Alpine Rock
Climbing
The steep
first pitch(5.7) of the NE ridge is a classic long day of alpine rock.
Glacier approach, 10 pitches of featured granite climbing with comfortable
belay stances lead to the fist summit. An exposed but easy traverse of the
two summits and more downclimbing and rappels on the descent make for a
long day. |
